big jack, I dont see it that way.I am curious, how do you feel about theo the wonder boy owing ortiz, lugo, 114 game a season drew and lowell 95 million $$ over the next 2 years?How about the fact that they werent good enough last year and I dont see where they got any better?

Couldn’t agree with you more on Yawkey, but an Orihole fan should pipe down, it’s been a long time since 1983, and you haven’t smelled a playoff since 97. No team in baseball has signed players to dumber contracts then the original Evil Empire from the Bronx. And actually Cashman is the 500 pound gorilla in the room, bulling every team in baseball with Steinbrenner’s checkbook. By the way your sites are a fun read, good work.

Unlike front-running Red Sox fans, Oriole fans don’t only come out of the woodwork when we are winning. My fan ship is based on die-hard loyalty since 1971, not on how recent we made the post-season. It’s uncanny how many more Red Sox fans have come to Oriole Park since 2005. Gee, I wonder why. Bunch of arrogant, front-running weasels, that’s why. If Big Papi continues his spiral downward because he doesn’t have his boyfriend with him anymore, the so-called Red Sox Nation will dip back into obscurity, just like they did for almost 90 years until 2004.

Papi Ortiz also said he’s the one that would get Manny back for all the little college soxies out there, so that they can wear their green hats and “Papi Rules” shirts to the pubs and cheer on their favorite Red Sox freakshow star, buying rounds of Heineken for all the sorority sisters with Dad’s credit card.
